What connectivity is best for me?

Here at Galaxy, we have a range of connectivity options to suit your particular location, budget and requirements. Please feel free to get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.

What is SoGEA?

SoGEA stands for Single Order Generic Ethernet Access. It's a type of broadband connection that allows you to get high-speed internet without needing a traditional phone line1. This makes it quicker to install and often more cost-effective since you're not paying for a landline you might not use. It uses a mix of fibre and copper cables to deliver your internet, similar to other broadband services, but without the need for an active phone line.

What is FTTP?

FTTP (Fibre To The Premises) refers to the installation of fibre optic cables that run all the way from the internet service provider’s (ISP) exchange to the customer’s premises. This technology delivers ultrafast broadband speeds. FTTP is currently being rolled out across the UK with the UK government setting a target of 2025 for rollout completion.

What is a Leased Line?

Leased lines are a dedicated, point-to-point circuit that is rented by a business or organisation from a service provider. Leased lines are widely used by businesses to provide high-speed, reliable and secure internet connectivity and other data services.

Is a Static IP Address included?

Static IP Addresses are included as standard with all of our fixed line services.
